Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 8, 2026
This policy describes how the Water Eject iOS app ("the app", "we") handles your information. Water Eject is published by Sagteam. The short version: the app has no accounts, no sign-up, and no backend of its own — the only third party involved is Google, which serves the ads that keep the app free.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing. The app does not require an account and we do not operate any servers. Your preferences (chosen intensity, haptics and screen settings, number of completed sessions) are stored only on your device and never leave it. The audio the app plays is generated on your device; the app never uses your microphone.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information from your device, including:
- Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you allow tracking (see the next section)
- IP address (which may imply a coarse, city-level location)
- General device information (model, OS version, language)
- Ad interaction data (which ads were shown, viewed, or tapped)
How Google uses this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. A list of Google's advertising partners is available here.
App Tracking Transparency (your choice)
On first launch, iOS asks whether you allow Water Eject to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", nothing changes about how the app works. You still get all features and you still see ads — they are simply not personalized, because Google cannot access your device's advertising identifier. The app never sends an ad request before you have answered this prompt.
You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Consent for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested. Your choices there control whether Google may use your data for personalized advertising. Declining consent limits ads to non-personalized ones.
Ad attribution (SKAdNetwork)
The app supports Apple's SKAdNetwork framework, which lets ad networks measure ad campaign performance in a privacy-preserving way, without identifying you or your device.
Data retention and sharing
Since we collect nothing ourselves, we have nothing to retain, sell, or share. Data collected by Google is handled under Google's policies linked above. We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking tools beyond what is described on this page.
Children
Water Eject is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are requested without the child-directed treatment flag unless required by applicable law.
Hearing safety note
The app plays an intentionally loud tone to eject water. Don't hold the speaker to your ear during a session, and keep the phone away from pets.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data — for example by adding or removing an advertising provider — we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
